Description:
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and
the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives,
and the one who seeks, finds, and to the one who knocks, the door

Prayer is an essential tool for healing and is an excellent source of comfort,
courage and strength for those who are suffering. During times of illness,
disease or a life challenge, nothing is more important than to offer prayer
and to join with others in assurance of these prayers.
In addition to prayer, the Saints protect us against harm, help strengthen our
faith and offer spiritual guidance and healing. They are our models of prayer
and their intercession helps present powerful prayers of healing to God on
our behalf.
Our Patron Saints of Healing line offers hope and comfort to those who
seek healing through the intercession of the Saints. Each holy card and medal
set includes a high-quality prayer card that contains novena prayers specific
to the affliction, a short biography of the patron saint and an oxidized silver

Saint Apollonia was born in the third
century and lived in Alexandria, Egypt.
She spent her entire life preaching the word
of God and risked persecution for her faith.
In 249 AD, Saint Apollonia was finally
captured and brought before a pagan court
to be tried. When the judge asked her name,
she courageously replied, "I am a Christian
and I love and serve the true God."
Saint Apollonia's persecutors became enraged
and turned to torture. She stood firm in her
faith and refused to give up during the painful
ordeal of having her teeth smashed with pincers
and then knocked out. The persecutors then
told her that if she did not deny Jesus,
she would be thrown into a raging fire.
Rather than deny her faith in Jesus, she
jumped into the burning fire herself. When the
pagans saw how heroic she was,
many were converted to Christianity.
Saint Apollonia is recognized today
as the patroness of those who suffer from
dental disease or toothaches.
Her feast day is February 9th.
Saint Apollonia, Pray for Us.
